I should have done my research

Kirkman hasn't let me down before but The Governor Special is 6 pages that I've never seen before, at the beginning of the book, and the rest is just a reprint of when Rick first met him. I expected it to be about how The Governor lost his family and became a truly evil man. Color me disappointed.

Not really worth it

I been reading the walking dead comics since my freshmen year in highschool. (Since about 05) i own all the books to this date. i was reading up on this thinking it was an origin story. i was wrong. what this is is about 6 pages of extra look at the govenor right before rick and company visit him. i won't spoil what happens in those 6 pages but i will say not a lot happens. the rest of the book is taken out of the comics and put into this book. the art work is nice. if you never read about the govenor it would make a nice little forshadowing to what happens to rick when he meets the govenor. but to me, i feel it wasn't worth the 3 dollars i spent at my local comics shop.
