Elizabeth Elliot is, in my opinion, an exceptionally perceptive woman (I'm sorry she's gone). She learned so many of life's most important lessons from her trials as well as her joy. And OH! can she express things well! (Better than just "well"). I've ordered quite a few of her books. This one is exceptional.

This is a great book for those who are suffering through any type of loneliness, ie. widows, those suffering witih chronic disease, divorce, singleness, etc. Ms. Eliot has great incite from having experiences that have created loneliness for her.
